Award Amount
$5,000 per recipient
(This has been increased for 2026!)
Awards Granted
The annual amount of Scholarship Awards shall be designated by the NEWA Board during the month of June of each calendar year.
The Scholarship Award shall be used by Award recipients for educational tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies.
Each Scholarship Recipient will be required to sign an Award Acceptance Letter that will include, among other things, the identification of the Educational Institution to be attended.
NEWA reserves the right, at the direction of the Board of Directors, to disburse the award directly to the Educational Institution identified in the Award Acceptance Letter or to the Scholarship Recipient.

2025 Scholarship Award Announcement
The NEWA Board of Directors, in collaboration with the NEWA Scholarship Committee, is proud to announce the results of our 2025 Scholarship program. Our goal was to award four $2,500 scholarships to deserving members of the greater New England Wireless community.
In Summary:
The Scholarship Committee received a total of 19 applications. The Committee dedicated a month to thoroughly review and evaluate the impressive applications. We are pleased to announce the Scholarship Committee recommended, and the Board approved, the awarding of $2,500 scholarships to each of the following students:

Caleb Kean
Jenna Sykes
Caroline Hansen
The Board and the Scholarship Committee would like to extend our congratulations to each of the recipients. We commend the awardees and all of the applicants for their achievements and wish everyone the best of luck in the coming school year.
