The broadband labor gap is well documented, with an estimated 200,000 qualified employees needed to build, maintain, and upgrade communication networks.
As the industry gears up to BEAD deployments in the second half of 2025 and beyond, in addition to the ambitious broadband roll-out plan for connecting the entirety of the United States, industry, government, training bodies and post-secondary education institutions must come together to meet the demand and create a funnel of skilled workers for the industry.
The webinar will highlight best practices from community colleges, training institutions and bodies, as well as industry players and government in building training programs and implementing workforce development strategies, leveraging training, and aligning with their stakeholder needs for broadband workforce development.
