5G NR Beam Management

The evolving communication systems mandates a technique which can provide benefits of reduction of intra-cell interference, better Signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR), focused signal transmission towards desired direction/UE, achieving faster and reliable connection at the same time. Beamforming is one technique which has evolved over past few decades to accomplish the aforementioned. This document describes Beam Management requirement in 5G NR and introduces an effort to validate its functionality using Anritsu Test Solution.
